Remote Management of Core Routers, Network Switches, and Application Servers.

Through a secure VPN or private line connection, GDS manages routers, switches, and servers for optimal performance and functionality with reporting available through the nPower Xtranet. Within GDS’ Network Operations Center (NOC), our team proactively performs moves, adds and changes in addition to ensuring that managed devices are always operational. In the event that a failure is detected or is about to occur, experts will assess the situation and will track the incident until resolution through an on-line ticketing system.

Change management.

Changes to systems configurations are bound to happen as business requirements change. As standard part of change management, all configuration changes are tracked in a ticketing system based upon the change management procedures established between Global Data Systems and our Client.

In the unlikely event that the network device’s original configuration has been accidentally deleted and/or corrupted, our support team members are able to quickly restore the original configuration and return the device back to normal operations.

Monitoring SNMP-compliant devices.

Through a secure VPN or private line connection, the IPCare support team will monitor the managed devices and systems for up/down status. In the event that a failure occurs, our experts will notify the Client’s personnel of the outage and the affected node(s).
