nTouch Voice Readiness Assessment (VRA)

nTouch Voice Readiness Assessment (VRA) accurately predicts the performance of voice and call quality on an existing IP network prior to an IPT deployment. This service includes:

  • Emulation of voice over IP traffic
  • Collection of key call metrics
  • Analysis of results

At the conclusion of the assessment, our Client will receive a Readiness Assessment Report that:

  • Details the current network’s ability to support voice by evaluating and reporting ability to support IP telephony. Clients can then make knowledgeable decisions on how to proceed with an IP telephony investment and deployment.
  • Predicts voice quality by collecting network metrics to provide an accurate prediction of the overall call quality that can be expected once IP telephony is deployed. nTouch™ VRA possesses the capability to simulate the impact any application traffic may have on voice quality.
  • Builds a network inventory by automatically taking inventory of routers, switches, and WAN links evaluated during the test.
  • Identifies limitations of current network devices through a series of monitoring utilization statistics of current network devices to highlight potential needs for additional equipment or upgrades before IP telephony deployment.
  • Enables better planning with predictive modeling and increases deployment success through 'what if' analysis. Up-front modeling narrows down the scenarios that will be emulated on a live network.
  • Provides Expert Recommendations from nTouch™ professionals on how to prepare the existing network to carry voice.

With nTouch™ Voice Readiness Assessment, GDS Clients are enabled to make informed decisions on potential IP telephony investments before deployment and purchase.
