VPN Services
The security of a private network. The economies of scale and management capabilities of large public networks. With Global Data Systems' Managed IP Virtual Private Network (IP VPN) Services you enjoy both.

Offering businesses the ability to quickly and cost-effectively connect remote offices, partners and remote workers to company resources using a secure, high-speed connection. GDS' Managed IP VPN establishes a dedicated Internet connection to your sites anywhere around world. GDS' Managed IP VPN Services are also monitored 24x7x365 and provide you with the security of a private network through enhanced access control and encryption.

GDS' Managed IP VPN Services are administered through our Network Operations Center (NOC)  to provide a fully integrated, and redundant end-to-end connection between multiple locations. GDS provides transparency into your network through our online customer portal where you can keep your finger firmly on network performance, open trouble tickets, view bills and much more.

Sending secure data across GDS'  IP VPN infrastructure while integrating international sites into your global network will provide true cost savings. All resulting from the convergence of data, voice, and video over one network. All at a fraction of the cost of a truly private network.

All of GDS' services are administered through GDS' NOC  to provide a fully integrated, and redundant end-to-end connection between multiple locations. GDS' IP VPN leverages a CPE based VPN to encrypt traffic at the customer's premises before transport across the WAN infrastructure. Traffic is then tunneled to the NOC in order to take advantage of multi-backbone routing for greater resiliency.

Based on client requirements, GDS has designed a global DSL IP VPN service for secured access to corporate resources from for remote locations as DSL-based IP VPNs can provide more bandwidth at less cost. The issue however becomes one of consistent performance. No one provider physically owns an end-to-end broadband DSL infrastructure around the world. The issue is multiple providers; between providers there are other infrastructures that impact how traffic and applications will perform. Points of congestion at inter-provider peering points and the lack of a contractual relationship result in no end-to-end ownership for trouble solution and performance optimization.

GDS overcomes these obstacles by optimizing the DSL-based solution as well as providing world-class SLAs. These broadband SLAs deliver availabilityand network latency guarantee. Through the GDS NOC,  we aggregate DSL providers in various regions, countries, and cities around the world and tunnel traffic to enterprise locations through this optimized network.
