IP Telephony Systems Engineer

GDS is currently seeking an IP Telephony Systems Engineer with 2+ years experience to support our managed services offerings.

IP Telephony Engineer must have a strong understanding of IP Telephony concepts, products and solutions and will be responsible for supporting all aspects of IP Telephony services.

Qualifications: Candidates must be proficient with:

• Cisco CallManager versions 3.2-4.1
• Cisco Unity versions 3.1-4.0(4)
• Cisco Voice Gateways
• Cisco Routers and Switches
• Networking, TCP/IP
• Cisco MeetingPlace
• Windows 2000/2003 Server and related services (DNS, DHCP, etc.)
• Cisco CCNP certification or Higher
• MS Exchange

Desirable Technical Skills/Experience includes:

• Functioned as a team leader and can mentor junior members
• Experience administering MS SQL Server
• Experience administering SANs and cluster environments
• Familiar with IT management tools such as HP OpenView and CiscoWorks
• Experience with Unix and scripting/programming
